Liberty Pops Provides Season Finale To
Stowe, Vermont Performing Arts Series

During Labor Day weekend, the hills were alive at Stowe, Vermont’s Trapp Family Lodge with the sounds of the United States Air Force Band of Liberty. The Band made its eighth consecutive annual appearance at the Lodge’s Concert Meadow as the season finale for the Stowe Performing Arts Music in the Meadow series.

Over two thousand concertgoers brought their lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets, and enjoyed the Liberty Pops’ varied repertoire of popular and patriotic songs, as well as music from Hollywood and the Broadway stage. The Liberty Pops began the Labor Day weekend with a performance in Castleton, Vermont at Castleton College before hundreds of appreciative listeners.
