United States Air Force Band of Liberty and
National Football League Team Up

Band of Liberty-NFL photo collage

In November, the United States Air Force Band of Liberty performed at National Football League venues in Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York.

The Band of Liberty’s Colonial Brass appeared at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo, New York on November 5 to perform the National Anthem at a Buffalo Bills-Green Bay Packers game in front of a sellout crowd of 72,205. The Ceremonial Band played before 68,756 at Foxboro Stadium on the 12th for a New England Patriots-New York Jets game, and vocalist MSgt Huey Gauthier performed at the New Jersey Meadowlands on the 19th for 77,632 for a Jets-Chicago Bears contest.

In recent years, the National Football League has paid tribute to the Armed Forces during the month of November, on or near Veterans Day by hosting various military appreciation events at NFL games.
