An increasingly important part of the United States Air Force Band of Liberty’s mission is music education outreach. This program was designed to serve the needs and desires of any active high school or college music program, in any public or private institution in New England, New York, and New Jersey. How does it work? Members of our Liberty Pops and Liberty Big Band offer master classes and clinics for every band instrument, covering such topics as ensemble performance, interpretation, jazz improvisation, technique, intonation, and style. We can also present clinics on voice, stage presence, and showmanship for your choir students. Our commander/conductor offers ensemble coaching for school bands on a limited basis. We can also do instrument demonstration clinics for the younger grades. These educational and inspiring events have earned unanimous rave reviews from music educators across the Band of Liberty’s touring area, leaving a positive, lasting impression on music students.
