SMSgt Stanley Holland
Band Manager

Senior Master Sergeant Stanley Holland is the United States Air Force Band of Liberty's Regional Band Manager.  One of only fourteen members worldwide performing this duty, he oversees all resources, logistical, administrative, operational functions, media, supply and musical products and is responsible for all collateral duty assignments, human resources and supervisory structure and supervision of 63 assigned musicians.

Sergeant Holland was born in Hartford, Alabama, graduated from Geneva County High School and attended Wallace College in Dothan, Alabama.  He enlisted in 1981 as a drummer and percussionist, graduated from the United States Air Force Audio Engineering Technical School in 1991 and cross-trained to audio engineer.  Because of his talents in drumming and audio, he toggled between the two positions based on the needs of the Air Force band program.

Sergeant Holland was the Noncommissioned or Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter and Year at every one of his assignments.  He was selected as the 1996 Public Affairs Senior Noncommissioned Officer Bandsman of the Year for Pacific Air Forces and the 2002 and 2006 Public Affairs Air Force Material Command Outstanding Band Senior Noncommissioned Officer.
