The United States Air Force Band of Liberty’s annual appearances at the Dorothy Curran Concert Series have become a cherished summer music tradition in Boston. The Band’s concert on August 10 provided yet another memorable evening of music for the large, appreciative audience at City Hall Plaza.

The Band of Liberty’s That’s Entertainment show featured a wide variety of selections from Hollywood and the Broadway stage. The highlight of the evening was an appearance by special guest artist Michael Maguire, a Tony award winner from Broadway’s Les Misérables. Maguire and the Band of Liberty delighted the audience with vocal numbers from Les Misérables, Man of La Mancha, and The Music Man, and presented a rousing medley of Irving Berlin favorites.
