At Hanscom’s Electronic Systems Center Annual Awards Banquet on March 2, several members of the Band of Liberty were “front-and-center” participants.

Two of the contenders for top honors in the Noncommissioned Officer and Senior Noncommissioned Officer categories were ESC Staff nominees from the band, Technical Sergeant Dave Dell and Senior Master Sergeant Bob Greene.

Band of Liberty vocalist Technical Sergeant Bryan Bishop served as the gala’s emcee and committee chairman. A combo made up of Liberty Big Band members supplied the musical excitement, with vocal stylings provided by Sergeant Bishop, Airman First Class Courtney Clifford and Master Sergeant Huey Gauthier in his final Band of Liberty performance. Gauthier will soon retire from the United States Air Force after 26 years of service.
