Raytheon site

From July 2008 to April 2011, I was a Web/Flash developer at Raytheon—Integrated Defense Systems in Billerica, Massachusetts.

As a member of IDS’ Advanced Media department, I:

  • designed and created dynamic, user friendly web pages and Flash/interactive content at enterprise level and across Raytheon businesses
  • developed for web in corporate, external and internal environments
  • utilized SAP NetWeaver Portal/Web Page Composer and Oracle/Stellent for web content management
  • followed corporate identity guidelines to ensure the strength of the Raytheon brand
  • provided art direction, project management and quality assurance as a member of an in-house media team
  • interacted directly with corporate customers; delivered educated counsel and best web solutions

I redesigned Raytheon’s corporate finance web presence for the company’s oneRTN intranet portal. This project has drawn upon my broad skill set through the use of XHTML, CSS and JavaScript coding, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for image creation and optimization, and SAP NetWeaver Portal/Web Page Composer for content management. The Earned Value Management System (EVMS) site, a part of the corporate finance renovation, is shown above.
