Raytheon site

Since July of 2008, I have been working as a Web/Flash developer at Raytheon—Integrated Defense Systems in Billerica, Massachusetts.

As a member of IDS’s Advanced Media Group, I:

  • design and create dynamic, user friendly web pages and Flash/interactive content at enterprise level and across Raytheon businesses
  • develop for web in corporate, external and internal environments
  • utilize SAP NetWeaver Portal/Web Page Composer and Oracle/Stellent for web content management
  • follow corporate identity guidelines to ensure the strength of the Raytheon brand
  • provide art direction, project management and quality assurance as a member of an in-house media team
  • interact directly with corporate customers; deliver educated counsel and best web solutions

I have redesigned Raytheon’s corporate finance web presence for the company’s oneRTN intranet portal. This project has drawn upon my broad skill set through the use of XHTML, CSS and JavaScript coding, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for image creation and optimization, and SAP NetWeaver Portal/Web Page Composer for content management. The Earned Value Management System (EVMS) site, a part of the corporate finance renovation, is shown above.
