USAF Band of Liberty—Maureen McGovern video

In 2004, the Air Force Band of Liberty performed at Boston's City Hall Plaza with renowned singer Maureen McGovern.

I captured some surprisingly good footage from that concert with only a Canon Elura (1 CCD) digital camcorder and a tripod. The audio was merely the ambient sound at the venue; there was no direct feed from the sound board. I imported the tape into Final Cut and inserted the Band of Liberty logo watermark, a caption for the title, and a cross dissolve transition into the final still image displaying the logo, then posted the movie clip onto the Band's web site.

Maureen McGovern was so pleased with the camera work and video editing, she subsequently linked her web site to the Band of Liberty's, and requested a copy of all my footage from that concert for use in one of her video projects.
